About the course

Study a globally recognised accounting degree and gain a strong foundation and conceptual knowledge of recent developments in sustainability and global trends in accounting. Develop specialist knowledge in accounting, economics and finance and learn the skills you need to succeed in a senior accounting position in a variety of industries. Upon completion of this course, you'll be eligible to apply for accreditation with CPA Australia and/or Chartered Accountants - Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ)* * You may be eligible to apply for accreditation with Chartered Accountants - Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) as long as you have successfully completed BLO5539 - Australian income Tax Law and Practice. Please note that for CA ANZ accreditation, exemption for BEO6501 - Quantitative Analysis as an integrated unit applies only if BLO5539- Australian income tax law and practice is completed successfully in your BMAK study

Admission requirements

Entry into the Master of Business (Accounting) requires you to have completed: Bachelor/Honours degree: Successful completion of a non-cognate (any discipline) Bachelor/Honours Degree and a Graduate Certificate in a cognate (similar discipline) field. Successful completion of a non-cognate (any discipline) Bachelor/Honours Degree and four years full-time work experience post-graduation including at least 2 of the 4 years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role as approved by the College. International: In addition to satisfying the Bachelor/Honours Degree or Mature Age admission requirements, International Students must provide evidence of proficiency in the English language as demonstrated by: International English Language Testing System or its equivalent - overall score of 6.5 and no individual band score less than 6. Mature: In the absence of a Bachelor/Honours Degree, 7 years full-time work experience including at least 3 of the 7 years full-time work experience gained while working in a dedicated supervisory/management role in business, logistics or supply chain management as approved by the College.
